Up for sale: Vintage 80's Pair 5 LB Hex Head Dumbbell Matching Weight Set Painted Cast Iron Good preowned condition, these dumbbells are built like tanks and have many many years of use left! We weighed both, one is approximately 4 pounds 13 ounces and the other is 5 pounds on the nose. This set is solid cast iron with remnants of the original silver grey paint. Based on our research we date these to the late 80's. Some marks, scratches, pitting, small surface rust spots and significal paint loss can be seen, all consistent with age and use. As we place some of our items with film and television period productions (who value authentic patina, distress and age) we have left these in the original, as-found condition. They could use a thorough cleaning if they are to be used and displayed in the home. Please do review all the detail images as we have made an effort to show all the imperfections, the photos tell an accurate story of condition. Each dumbbell is marked with a "5" and measures approximately 8.5" in height. All reasonable offers accepted! Sold as is, all sales final.
