Description

Vintage Kodak Retina Reflex III camera with FOUR Schneider-Kreuznach lenses Combine fine German engineering with extraordinary Schneider-Kreuznach lenses and the result is tack-sharp photography! A great gift for anyone wanting to explore film photography or to complete their lens inventory. LENSES Curtagon F4 / 28mm prime, with cap Retina-Xenon f 1.9 / 50mm prime with cap Retina Tele-Arton f 4 / 85mm with Tiffen 30 Bay 6 Adapter, with cap and rigid case Retina-Tele-Xenar f 4 / 135mm prime with Kodak skylight filter and rigid case Also included: an old camera bag, old external flash unit (condition unknown) and a cable shutter release. See photos. This camera belonged to my Dad and was passed down to me. This was my introduction into the world of film photography and the lenses are spectacular. (And if you know anything about photography, you know that the glass is the most import part of your camera gear). I'm cleaning out my storage area and thought I'd pass it along to the next generation of photographers! CONDITION : This camera has been carefully used and maintained. The lenses are all in good shape with just a few small signs of wear here and there. The UV filter on the 135mm lens has a nick in it, but the lens itself is immaculate. PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS to evaluate the condition. The built-in exposure meter doesn't work. Otherwise, the camera is in good working order. This is an all-manual camera with bayonet-mounted lenses, so please think about what you're buying. It can be a great, fun learning tool and the four lenses alone are worth the price! Will ship to anywhere Fed-Ex serves. Here's some info I found online: Like many 35mm SLR cameras of West German heritage it is equipped with a leaf shutter instead of a focal plane shutter. The camera's top plate has the manually set frame counter, the shutter release, the film rewind knob with film reminder dial, the exposure needle window, meter adjustment knob with EV and ASA/DIN scales, the film(advance) release button, the frame (counter) advance slider, and the accessory shoe. The bottom plate contains the tripod socket, the film advance lever, the back release latch, and the film rewind release button.
