That team moved to Gaylord, Michigan and became the Gaylord Grizzlies in December of 1995 The team was then relocated to Grand Rapids, Michigan where they became the Grand Rapids Bearcats in 1998. The team was then taken over by the league during the 1999-2000 season when the team was renamed the Grand Rapids Rockets. The team was then relocated to Lansing for the 2000-01 season. The team would then fold after the 2002-03 season. The team was then briefly replaced in the area by the Lansing Ice Nuts of the senior amateur level International Independent Hockey League.
