This is a rare find vintage Van Dell semi parure consisting of a pair of earrings and a brooch, The Brooch and earrings have blue rhinestones in the center of a very distinctive rose tone 12K GF setting. The pin/brooch has 3 little rhinestones on extended prongs. It has a safety C-clasp and a small hook from which to suspend a chain to wear as a pendant. The Van Dell Hallmarks 1/20 12K GF is stamped on the back of the brooch and earrings. Measurements: Earrings: 1 14 inches long, 3/4 inches wide Brooch: 1 inches long and 1 1/4 inches wide The Van Dell Corporation founded in 1943 produced high quality Van Dell lines of costume jewelry with designs resembling fine quality jewelry in sterling silver, gold filled and gold plated metal using rhinestones and other imitation stones, simulated gemstones and cultured and faux pearls. Their jewelry has the quality of Krementz with finishes not wearing off -held up through the years. The Van Dell costume jewelry has never been cheap but is sought after by collectors.. The company was sold to Hallmark in 1970, and in 1998 became a part of Colibri. The jewelry is still being produced today.
