Description

Up for sale is a nice, vintage pair of Japanese paintings of Japanese women in a Spring garden. The estate we got them from estimated they had been on the wall from mid-1970s to the early 80s. Quite elegant! The canvases are 16 x 20 inches. The paintings are in very good clean condition, with very minor scratches, etc. We cannot decipher the signatures. We were told the red cartouches under the signature, is the title “In The Garden.” The carved, painted wood frames are 28 x 24 inches. There are some nicks and scratches on the frames, consistent with their age. Just a pair of unusual paintings that are ready to hang up on your wall. Our price for the two is now only $70.
