Matched Pair Antique Kavuta Fertility Silver Earrings from Timor Called kavuta, and from the Tetum people of Central Timor, this set of women’s earrings are made of cast silver. These are often available as single pieces as well as pairs. The design suggests it may have been a fertility symbol. Lively design which includes spirals, lines, and balls on a flat surface. They are especially intricate and graphic. They could be worn as an attractive pendant, or displayed as part of collection. Each measures 2" wide and 2 5/8" tall. Each weighs 19.8 grams.
