Item #3153 This is an "occo" type of Brazilian geode. You can always tell this type of geode by the swirly patterns in the polished edge of the geode. Sometimes you can see the swirls on the outside as well. This geode was cut in half to form a perfect matched pair. The rims on each part are polished to show the beautiful patterns in the agate. This is a very hollow occo geode with nice druzy quartz crystals inside. It's so thin that light shows through both pieces (translucent). This is a large occo geode, as most are golf ball size or smaller. It sparkles in the light and displays well. The piece weigh 4.6 oz. (131g). It measures 3 inches long, 3 3/4 inches wide, and 1 1/4 inches high. The crystalized hollow is1 3/4 inches wide
