Antique Japanese Kutani Creamer & Sugar Bowl Matching Set Signed Taisho Period. Beautiful matching pair of cream and sugar with Kutani style pattern. Signed on base of both pieces. Unable to fully decipher first character of signature, reads "-mura Zo", possibly read as the surname "Shimura". May also be read as "Yomura Tsukuru" denoting the location where the piece was made. Sugar bowl in great condition with some minor wear in paint loss. Creamer has old repair on lip and some small hairlines on lip by handle. Otherwise piece is in excellent shape. Sugar bowl measures approx 3.5" deep and 4.25" tall from top of handles. Creamer measures 3.5" deep and 4" tall from handle plus approx 5.5" wide from handle to spout. Included is an old hand written heirloom note from a previous estate owner. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
