Description

Auction is for the ILEX-CALUMET CALTAR 14 3/4" (375MM) F:6.3 Lens in Excellent Condition. The Glass is clean and clear with only a few dust particles, with no scratches, cleaning marks, fungus or separation. The Shutter needs a CLA'd. Most speeds are off (See Shutter Speed Test Results in last Photo) so shutter should be serviced. Comes with Front Cap and Rear Lens Caps, and Lens Flange that goes on and off smoothly Lens Serial Number: 1771 Shutter Serial Number: 85 548 This Lens is being SOLD AS-IS with no returns. A few General Comments about a Lens’ Condition: What is the difference between a scratch in the glass of a lens and a hairline wipe mark? A scratch can be felt when you gently run a fingernail across it and a hairline wipe mark is only in the coating and cannot be felt. A scratch may refract light if it’s deep enough. A wipe mark won't. Vintage means usable but not necessarily perfect optically, mechanically or cosmetically. Any defects not mentioned but visible in the pictures will be considered as described.
