Description
This is a 1930s era Burke and James Rembrandt portrait camera. The wooden camera body construction is in good shape. Some of the grey paint is a little worn on the corners. but what do you expect for 90 year old wooden camera. The Bellows appears to need repairs to the leather corners. I tested it with a led lamp. The leather on the carry handle is long gone but it can be easily replaced It comes fitted with a 12-in Kodak commercial lens in a number 4 Acme shutter. The shutter works, but needs cleaning. The times are totally off. The lens is fungus free and clear of major dust particles. You could use the camera for work if you chose to, but the cost of 8X10 film is very expensive, not to mention processing.
