Description

Set of 2 antique photographs in matching bronze frames, circa 1800's, possibly German. One photo is a studio portrait of a young adult woman wearing white or light colored clothing and short pearl necklace. Her brunette hair is short and wavy. The other photo is also a studio portrait of an older gentleman wearing a period 3-piece suit and necktie. He is shown with a chain in the chest area of the vest, probably for a pocket watch. The man is balding and has a thick mustache consistent with the time period. Both photos are sepia tone. Both photographs are placed in an antique bronze picture frame with glass on the fronts. The cardboard backings on the frames are worn and do not stand easily on their own. A sticker of "Echte Bronze" is on the frame's green backing paper. Photo, frames, and glass pieces are all in good antique condition but the back of both are in poor condition due to the nature of the cardboard.
