Description

This set of two matching prints by Jean Ekman Adams is a perfect addition to any art collection. The prints are signed and dated by the artist and come framed in a matted, under glass in a faded paint green wood frame. The small size of the prints, measuring 18.25 inches in height and 22.25 inches in width, makes them easy to display in any room. The prints feature a cartoon style and depict a peaceful scene of sleeping arrangements. The production technique is a Giclée print ( I assume), and the prints were produced in the United States in 1998. The prints weigh 4 pounds each and are a great contemporary piece from the 1990-1999 time period. Jean is the daughter of Stan Ekman, who created covers for the Saturday Evening Post. She lived in Colorado and spent the winters in Arizona. These prints are after one of her books, "Clarence Goes Out West and Meets a Purple Horse," in which Clarence and his purple horse decided to change up their sleeping arrangements. It's a very cute pair of critters from Jean's creations. The frames are a nice accompaniment to the art. There are a few nicks.
