Description

Antique (1870-80's) matching pair of wall mount ( no handles) glass oil lamps with 3 1/4" D base and having two different burners. One 8 1/2" H X 2 7/8" D base glass chimney is included but no wicks.The lamps have no carrying handles, and most likely resided on a dual wall mount cast iron fixture during their lifetime of use. There are no chips or cracks on either the lamp glass bases or chimney. Each lamp has a different brass burner; One burner is marked on its wick knob "PAT Mar 10 68 & May 5 73". This burner also has a brass retaining screw to hold glass chimney in place. The other brass burner is marked on its wick knob "The Solar" & "E.M. & CO". The burner openings appear to be in excellent condition. The wick turning knobs rotate easily. The copper screw on reservoir caps open and close. If you have any questions, please mail me.
